Erica M. Rivera Psy.D.

Dr. Erica Rivera is a partner in the Los Angeles office, with deep experience in executive assessment and systemic human capital consulting. She works with CEOs and senior management to get talent selection and succession planning right, helping companies scale leadership capability, link succession planning to strategy, and accelerate business performance. Clients include companies ranging in size from high-­tech startups to complex global Fortune 500 corporations. Erica is valued for her perspective and counsel in the private equity, M&A, and consumer-­oriented product paces of goods, technology, and media. Other industry vertical work includes life sciences and financial service sectors. As an internal resource, Erica supports the West Region’s private equity practice and manages the RHR new consultant onboarding process, supporting learning and development throughout the firm.

Prior to joining RHR International, Erica was principal of a management consulting firm that delivered executive assessment, development, and team-­effectiveness services. Before completing her doctorate in psychology, Erica worked in marketing and client services for an investment consulting firm and managed marketing and international distribution for the film division of a major entertainment company.

Erica has lived in Asia and traveled extensively throughout the globe. She graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a bachelor’s degree in international business. She holds a master’s degree in psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California, and both a master’s and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Long Island University in New York. Erica serves on the board of Sound Bodies for Life, a not-­for-­profit initiative dedicated to educating families and children in underserved communities about nutrition, food, and healthy habits.
