Doug is based in Silicon Valley and has advised on billions of dollars of financings and strategic transactions including IPOs, carve-outs, equity and equity-linked financing, private placements, M&A, leverage buyouts, bank and bond financing, SPACs and structured products. Doug’s experience encompasses a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on Technology.\nPrior to PwC, Doug was a technology investment banker with Credit Suisse for 9 years and Co-Head of Listings at the New York Stock Exchange for 9 years. He has also been Head of Business Development at Figure Technologies (a fintech blockchain startup), a corporate banker at Bank of America and an aerospace engineer at McDonnell Douglas Corp.\nDoug received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from MIT, his M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, and his MBA from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley. He has written a Masters thesis and is published in academic journals in the field of computational fluid dynamics software.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChief Financial Officer, Longboard Pharmaceuticals; Chair (Southwest Chapter), Association of Bioscience Financial Officers; Director, TFF Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Temple Therapeutics BV\nBrandi Roberts\nBrandi Roberts has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Longboard Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (LBPH) since January 2021.  Ms. Roberts has more than 25 years of public accounting and finance experience, including 22 years at publicly traded pharmaceutical, medical technology, and life science companies. Previously, Ms. Roberts served as Chief Financial Officer of Lineage Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NYSE: LCTX) from January 2019 to January 2021. Prior to joining Lineage, she served as Chief Financial Officer of REVA Medical, Inc. Ms. Roberts previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Mast Therapeutics, Inc. from January 2013 to April 2017, and as its Senior Vice President, Finance, from March 2011 to January 2013. Previously, she held senior positions at Alphatec Spine, Inc., Artes Medical, Inc., Stratagene Corporation, and Pfizer, Inc. Ms. Roberts currently serves as Chair of the Southwest Chapter of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers and serves on the boards of TFF Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Temple Therapeutics BV.
