SUMMARY:The Board’s Mission: Finding the Right CEO
DESCRIPTION:One of the most important responsibilities of the board of directors is finding the right CEO, regardless of the stage in which the organization may find itself. A great CEO for one stage of a company’s growth might not be the right fit as circumstances shift. The organization’s success depends on the board’s ability to match the skills and expertise of a potential CEO with the challenges that individual will be facing in the role.\n\nHow can board members strike a balance between “playing it safe” and practically ensuring stability, versus “playing it too safe” and potentially stifling innovation and creativity?\nHow can the ability to lead in today’s complex and public-facing environment be determined?\n\nOur expert panelists will discuss the impact of selecting the right CEO to ensure that all stakeholders feel motivated and inspired to continually strengthen the organization and enhance its long-term performance.\nThank You to Our Sponsor!\n\n \nClick below to learn more about our speakers!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPartner, CEO & Board Practice, Spencer Stuart; Chairman, Islandwood\nJason Baumgarten\n\n\n\n\n\nChair, Corporate Governance Committee, Tractor Supply Company; Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, AMN Healthcare\nDenise Jackson\n\n\n\n\n\nCEO, Nabriva Therapeutics\nTed Schroeder\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPartner, CEO & Board Practice, Spencer Stuart; Chairman, Islandwood\n\n\n\n\n\nJason Baumgarten\nJason Baumgarten helps organizations across industries to find and assess CEOs who drive results and inspire senior leadership teams to perform at the highest levels.
