Annalisa BarrettSenior Advisor, KPMG Board Leadership Center, KPMG US
Annalisa Barrett is a Senior Advisor with the KPMG Board Leadership Center, where she advises directors on emerging corporate governance issues and conducts research to develop thought leadership on board composition and governance practices. She frequently speaks at conferences around the country addressing issues important to corporate directors, governance professionals, and investors. Annalisa has been quoted on corporate governance and board practices in the New York Times, Bloomberg, and the Financial Times, and her research has been featured in the Wall Street Journal.
Prior to joining KPMG, Annalisa was CEO of Board Governance Research LLC. She was also a Senior Advisor for ValueEdge Advisors and Vice President and Senior Research Associate at The Corporate Library (now MSCI ESG Research). She previously was a Research Consultant in the Executive Compensation practice at Towers Perrin and a Tax Consultant in the Family Wealth Planning practice of Arthur Andersen.
Annalisa currently serves on the Women on Boards Advisory Council of the California Partners Project and the California Insurance Diversity Task Force. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Business, where she teaches graduate courses in corporate governance.
For over a decade, Annalisa has served on the board of the Corporate Directors Forum (CDF), which provides governance education and peer networking for corporate directors. In 2019, she was selected by her fellow directors to receive the C. Hugh Friedman CDF Board Member of the Year award. In 2008, she was named a Millstein Rising Star in Corporate Governance by the Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School. She is a Scott M. Johnson Fellow of the US-Japan Leadership Program, a member of the International Corporate Governance Network, the Society for Corporate Governance, and the 30% Coalition. She holds an MBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She resides in San Diego, California with her husband and two children.

Jonathan FairtloughPrincipal, Advisory, Cyber Security Services KPMG US
A Principal in KPMG’s Cyber Threat Management practice, Jonathan has over 20 years of experience in investigating and responding to digital data Incidents, cyber-attacks and theft. Jonathan works with a diverse client base to help manage complex data and intrusion incidents, including ransomware, data extortion, theft of intellectual property and insider theft. Jonathan specializes in working at the direction of counsel to integrate IR response and management services.
Jonathan started his career at the Los Angeles County District Attorneys office, where he ran the digital evidence presentation for the case of People v. Orenthal James Simpson. He later co-founded and was the Assistant Head Deputy of the High Technology Crimes Division, where he oversaw a team of prosecutors and investigators in successfully prosecuting hundreds of cases of computer intrusion, technology enabled identity theft, Intellectual property and trade secret crimes.
He co-created the training curriculum at the National Computer Forensic Institute, a US DHS training center for state and local prosecutors, judges and investigators, creating the class and manuals for the Digital Evidence for Prosecutors class, the Mobile Device Evidence for Prosecutors class and the Advanced Digital evidence classes. He continued to teach at the NCFI up to 2021. He also assisted in the creation of a certification in digital forensics for Cypress College. An accomplished instructor, he has taught for the California POST training program, the FBI, United States Secret Service, the National Advocacy Center, the NDAA, the CDAA, the IACP and the Los Angeles County Criminal Justice Institute. He is a testifying expert on theft of Intellectual Property, computer Intrusion and identity theft, and a trusted C-Suite advisor on qualifying and managing cyber risk globally.
He transitioned to the private sector in 2013, helping build a global IR team for an investigative risk consultancy for eight years. He assisted hundreds of clients in response to active data incidents.

Lisa is an accomplished board member and award-winning global business and technology executive with over 30 years of leading digital transformation across multiple sectors including high-tech, Healthcare, Government, and Academia. As a successful business leader, she led the turnaround of a $9B P&L.
Lisa is a sought-after keynote speaker, thought leader, and mentor. In 2023 she joined the board of TriWest Healthcare Alliance a business serving military and Veteran communities across 26 states with $1.4B in revenues, and the board of Movius, a $22M AI-powered, leading global provider of mobile unified communications. She is a member of the Board of Trustees & audit committee member for the Blue Shield of California Foundation, a $34M nonprofit, and a member of the Harrisburg University Cybersecurity Advisory Board, to name a few.
Lisa currently serves as EVP and Chief Information Officer of Blue Shield of California, a nonprofit health plan with $24 billion in annual revenue. She leads and develops the digital transformation strategy to transform the healthcare system, supporting cybersecurity and leveraging digital technology, data, and analytics to accelerate the delivery of modern digital services and capabilities to improve the customer and provider experience.
Prior to Blue Shield, Lisa served as VP and General Manager of Enterprise & Government Data Center Group for Intel Corporation. There she turned around the $9 billion failing global data center business, bringing it back to profitability after it experienced a 7-year decline. Prior to Intel, she was the CIO at Georgetown University where she created and executed a digital transformation that modernized the institution’s infrastructure and provided digital tools and services to ensure competitiveness as a top-tier university.
She had a successful 26-year career in the federal government. She became a member of the federal senior executive service, serving as the CIO of the U.S. Marshals Service in the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as CIO of Counterintelligence Field Activity in the U.S. Department of Defense, where she managed networks of multiple security classifications and led global technology transformation and cyber security strategies.
She is a recognized expert in Cloud, Edge, and Cyber Security technologies and architecture. She is a champion for women in STEM fields and is the Executive Sponsor of Blue Shield of California’s employee resource group, OpVet, . Lisa has been awarded the 2023 National ORBIE CIO of the Year for Healthcare, 2022 Bay Area Orbie CIO Award for Healthcare, CIO of the Year 2022, Forbes CIO Next List for 2022; Future Edge 50 Award for real-time claims settlement 2021; CIO Hall of Fame Award 2021.
She holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University. She held a CISSP in 2003 and TS/SCI U.S. security clearance (inactive). She has been married for 24 years, with three adult children, is an outdoors enthusiast, passionate about health and wellness, and is a certified instructor in Spin, Boot Camp, and Step.

Wynter is a trusted advisor in the boardroom and a fierce advocate in the courtroom when businesses face issues found at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation. Clients depend on her ability to combine thoughtful legal analysis and strategy with an aggressive but practical “big picture” approach to litigation and compliance matters.
Wynter is an experienced trial lawyer who specializes in defending individual and class actions relating to privacy, consumer protection, cybersecurity, false advertising and unfair business practices, and data collection, use and storage practices (including breach-related litigation). Wynter has successfully defended claims brought under the California Invasion of Privacy Act, California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, Washington Privacy Act, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, California False Advertising Law, Electronic Communications Privacy Act, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Video Privacy Protection Act, and various other privacy, consumer protection, and cybersecurity-related state and federal laws and regulations. Wynter has significant experience in defending individual, class actions and arbitrations arising out of the use of chatbots, session replay technology, and other tracking technologies such as the Meta pixel.
