From Innovation to Exposure: AI, Insurance, and Risk
As companies adopt new technologies and innovate at greater speed, the nature of corporate risk is evolving just as quickly. For boards and senior executives, understanding how risk is assessed, transferred, and mitigated—particularly through insurance—has become a critical governance responsibility.
This session is designed for company directors and executives who want a clearer, more practical understanding of today’s risk landscape and how insurance can be used as a strategic tool to protect both the organization and individual leaders. While emerging technologies such as AI are part of this evolving environment, the focus of the discussion is on identifying exposure, anticipating where risk may materialize, and ensuring insurance coverage aligns with how companies actually operate.
Panelists will explore how insurers are evaluating modern business risks, where coverage gaps commonly arise, and how boards can work more effectively with management, brokers, and advisors to strengthen protection. The conversation will also address how directors and executives should think about personal liability, D&O coverage, and oversight practices that reduce exposure in an increasingly complex operating environment.
