Jimmy Anklesaria
Jimmy Anklesaria, F.C.A., LL.B., founded the Anklesaria Group, Inc. in 1989. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a law degree and an MBA. Mr. Anklesaria is the author of Supply Chain Cost Management: The AIM & DRIVE® Process for Achieving Extraordinary Results (AMACOM, 2007) and is co-author of Zero Base Pricing™: Achieving World-Class Competitiveness Through Reduced All-In-Cost with David N. Burt and Warren E. Norquist. Mr. Anklesaria holds the international service mark for the AIM & DRIVE® process. He has published several articles and cases in leading purchasing and financial journals and texts in the United States and abroad.
One of the world’s most sought-after speakers on cost management, Jimmy has positively influenced the procurement transformation process at numerous Fortune 500 companies resulting in cost savings of several billions of dollars. He has a unique ability to provide practical solutions to complex business problems and has been the keynote speaker and workshop leader for a number of organizations and companies. Mr. Anklesaria is a mentor to several Chief Procurement Officers and others in the profession.
Education and philanthropy are two of Jimmy’s passions. Since 1985, he has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in Strategic Cost Management, Finance and Investments at the University of San Diego, where he was named Outstanding Professor of the Year. He has also lectured in Strategic Cost Management at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago, Michigan State University, University of Southern California and Arizona State University. Mr. Anklesaria currently teaches a graduate course in Supply Chain Management at the Rady School of Management, University of California, San Diego. In 2017, Jimmy established an endowed Chair for Supply Chain Management at the Rady School of Management, UCSD and founded the Institute of Supply Excellence and Innovation at the same school. He is the President of the Anklesaria Family Foundation and is dedicated to furthering the profession through scholarships and endowments.

Hyoduk “Shin” Shin
Shin is Associate Professor of Innovation, Technology and Operations at Rady School of Management, University of California, San Diego. His research interests include forecast information sharing and transparency, and innovation in supply chain management, competitive strategies under operational constraints, economics of information technology and cybersecurity, and release strategies in the motion picture industry.
Shin has been published in numerous top academic journals, including Management Science and Operations Research. He won the best paper award of Conference on Information Systems and Technology for the paper “Cloud Computing: Implications on Software Network Structure and Security Risks” with his co-authors. He is a recipient of and Lieberman Fellowship from Stanford University. He also won over ten teaching awards from University of California, San Diego, including distinguished teaching award, and a core teaching award from Northwestern university.
Prior to joining the Rady School, Shin was an Assistant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Shin earned a Ph.D. from Stanford University, and a M.S. in Statistics from the University of Chicago.

Helen Wang
As a supply chain executive in the high-tech industry, Helen is currently the CEO and Founder of W Consulting Group that builds bridges between Silicon Valley and supply chain companies worldwide. She serves on the advisory board for tech startups, fast-growing manufacturing and supply chain companies. Helen is the vice-chair for the Institute of Supply-Chain Excellence & Innovation at Rady School of Management in UC San Diego. She also serves on the board for the MS Marketing Program at SCU’s Leavey School of Business. Helen gives leadership workshops for corporations and universities around the world.
Previously, Helen was a Director of Supplier Partnership and Chief Procurement Officer at Google X where she worked on ambitious projects like self-driving car, Google Glass, Smart Contact Lens etc. Before Google, Helen had a long and successful career at Apple and helped deliver a portfolio of innovative products, including iPhone’s first release. Before joining Apple, Helen led the U.S. Procurement function at Foxconn Technology Group. She has a proven track record in supply chain strategy and innovation, ranging from launching large scale consumer products to enabling breakthrough technologies for emerging industries.
Helen earned an Executive MBA at Leavey School of Business and a BS in Science at San Jose State.
